I am a mom in my 20s and have had a passion for fitness most of my life. I discovered this love for physical activity in middle school, when at 12 I became involved with competitive cheerleading. After year-round training for six years of cheering, I graduated high school needing to find a new way to stay in shape and running just came natural. I love a good cardio workout but didn’t delve into weight training until two years ago when I started becoming complacent with my normal cardio routine. Determined to shake things up in my workout regimen, I dedicated myself to a weight training routine and realized weight lifting had a great impact on my body.
Currently in the process of getting certified in personal training through the American College of Sports Medicine, I know fitness is crucial to both mental and physical well-being. I believe everyonedeserves to live a happy, confident life and all should know the benefits to the body, soul and mind from an active lifestyle.
